Beautiful Chunky River, we want to keep it clean and green

Tommy Vincent, President EMFLT

East Mississippi Foothills Land Trust

In the South we seldom think about water and air being limited resources; but the truth is in many parts of America they are being polluted at a rapid rate. Currently half the rivers in America are too polluted to drink from and many cities are routinely having air quality alerts.
At the East Mississippi Foothills Land Trust we often say our goal is to preserve our natural resources for our grandchildren’s grandchildren. What we are saying is we want future generations to be able to swim in our rivers and drink the tap water and breathe clean fresh air. We understand it may not carry a sense of urgency because we still enjoy these gifts, butmost understand that doing nothing is not an option.
The strategy of EMFLT is to begin by educating our youth; teach them about our great natural resources and how they can protect and preserve them.  I know you feel the same because you are still reading this message. We at EMFLT have a plan, and we could use your help. If you have an interest in helping us accomplish our mission, please email us or call me, Tommy Vincent at  (601) 484-2564.  In this website you will learn some of our accomplishments and opportunities, and we welcome you to be a part of EMFLT.

We cordially invite you to join EMFLT!  Browse our site, see who we are, then visit here to see how you can help !
